New Book by Sandra Meech

UK Textile artist and author Sandra Meech has a new book out called Creative Quilts.



My piece entitled Reflections is pictured in the chapter called "Exploring Stitch", on page 101.

This book is a terrific guide for anyone who wants to try out new approaches in quilting. It shows how any needleworker can turn their work into art, using sketchbooks and journals, and taking inspiration from art, architecture, and textiles. She includes workshops on how to turn ideas into reality, and provides detailed instructions on surface embellishment, mixed-media, and three-dimensional looks.
